A long avenue of trees lead up to the main entrance of the fabled and historical estate of Quinta de Porto Franco, a low and long building with the traditional profile of estate residences in the Lisboa region of Portugal.

Across the lands surrounding the patios adjoining the house there are streaks of colours enlivening the landscape: Alfrocheiro vines on one side, Moscatel vines on the other, and Aluado's Alicante Bouschet vine a little further on. It is here that the great winemaker, José Neiva Correia, created the idea of Aluado in a moonstruck moment....
